We are a Boston-based residential interior design studio specializing in large-scale renovation projects. We thrive on the opportunity to utilize our expertise in space-planning, interior architectural details, and contractor collaboration.

We dive deep into our clients’ floor plans to ensure a thoughtful use of space and ensure graceful transitions from room to room. We bring together material palettes, furnishings and lighting from a deep catalog of sources from coast to coast. The resulting spaces are both modern and timeless, with striking focal moments that bring joy and interest to the home.

MEET STEPHANIE

After almost a decade in marketing, Stephanie felt a pull to find her own creative voice. She completed the program in Interior Design & Interior Architecture at UC Berkeley SF in 2013. After working for two established firms and re-settling in the Boston area, she founded Stephanie Freeman Design in 2017. She draws on design inspiration and sources from all three of her home cities (SF, Chicago, and Boston). She is known for blending contemporary and traditional elements with boldness and innovation. Her business partners consider her a technical & detailed designer with a candid and solution-oriented approach.

An avid music fan, foodie, and yogi, Stephanie resides in Brookline with her husband and two young daughters.
